Small Joys — breathing is good

Day 103

Take 5 mins to sit still & breathe. Repeat regularly

Today was a good day for this. Probably any day in tax season is a good day for this. I meditated this morning so that was 10+ minutes of focused breathing.

Then at the office, K was driving me up the wall (separate post). And I don’t think I took a full 5 minutes, but at least twice, I did take a few deep breaths to keep from screaming. And I did take a walk outside at one point, which I rarely do. It helps disrupt the chaos in the head/tension in the office.

I will do a second meditation tonight.

*deep breaths*
