I recently moved. Moving medical care. Catching up new cardiologist to my heart health:
- Fantastic blood pressure
- No blockages, surprising for an overweight middle aged American who eats junk
- Genetic anomaly that if it was gonna kill me would’ve done so in my youth
- Electrical system completely whacked out, 100% supported by pacemaker
I could see him reading my chart wondering what I was about…got to genetic issue, and I could see his face relax as he saw I do need cardiac monitoring. Then got to electrical and fully understood why I’m a cardiac patient. It was fun seeing his face settle into: ok, that’s what we’ve got going on.
I rarely see a general cardiologist anymore ‘cause I need two different specialists. And he caught on that I won’t really be his patient. But you have to start with the cardiologist first.
